Paying the levy for the German Wine Fund
The German Wine Fund (AdöR) is an organisation of the German wine industry.
It promotes the quality and sales of wine through joint, non-competitive marketing measures at home and abroad.
It collects the wine levy for this purpose.

Prerequisite
You are:
- The owner or authorised user of areas marked as planted in the vineyard register that cover more than ten ares, or
- Trader (trade levy)
Procedure
You will receive an annual notification of the amount of the levy for the German Wine Fund from the office responsible for your area in mid-April. You must pay the levy into the account specified in the notification.
It is calculated using the available data from the vineyard register in Baden-Württemberg.
Deadlines
- for reporting to the vineyard register for vineyards with more than one hectare: once a year.
You must submit the report by 10 June after 31 May. Changes that affect the following autumn but have taken place after the submission deadline must be reported immediately. - for payment of the wine fund levy: annually by 15 May

They amount to EUR 0.67 per acre of planted vineyard area that was cultivated or owned in the autumn of the previous year (if this comprises more than ten ares).
