Housing promotion - applying for funding for homeowners' associations
Homeowners' associations can receive funding for the following projects:
- energy-efficient refurbishment
- age-appropriate conversion of your building stock
- Utilisation of renewable energies
Energy-efficient refurbishment and age-appropriate conversion:
For these projects, you can obtain a loan from the Landeskreditbank Baden-Württemberg (L-Bank). The interest rate on the loan is reduced for a limited period.
You can also receive grants.
Utilisation of renewable energies:
This project can be subsidised by corresponding offers from the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW). The requirements depend on the conditions of the KfW product. Your application will simply be forwarded to KfW via L-Bank.

Prerequisite
The main requirements for the subsidy are
- The measures you are planning for energy-efficient refurbishment or age-appropriate conversion fulfil the requirements of the Building Energy Act (GEG) or the relevant DIN standard
- In the case of measures for the future use of renewable energies, you must fulfil the requirements of the current KfW programme
Procedure
As the administrator of the homeowners' association, you must apply for the subsidy from L-Bank. You can obtain the application form 9026 via the portal of Landeskreditbank Baden-Württemberg - Förderbank (L-Bank).

Please note: The project may only be started after L-Bank has approved the funding in writing. A premature start to the project will result in the funding being rejected unless the responsible office agrees.
