Public procurement - Apply for prequalification procedure in the construction sector (VOB)

By participating in a prequalification procedure, construction companies can prove their qualifications independently of the contract. The procedure includes

• the qualification,
• authorisation to practise the profession,
• the economic, financial, technical and professional capacity and
• possible grounds for exclusion.

After successful participation, companies receive a certificate and a number. Your company's prequalification is entered under this number in the prequalification directory of the Association for the Prequalification of Construction Companies (Verein für die Präqualifizierung von Bauunternehmen e.V.). You can use the certificate or the number to prove your qualification in tender letters for public construction contracts.
