Find an emergency pharmacy service

Pharmacies must adhere to the statutory shop opening hours. The Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Pharmacists organises an emergency service for the supply of medicines in the following cases:

  • at night
  • at the weekend
  • on public holidays.

You can find information about the pharmacy on emergency duty in the following ways:

1. Notice board at every pharmacy
At pharmacies that are not on duty, a clearly legible notice is displayed in a clearly visible place for patients or other customers This refers to the nearest pharmacies on duty;

2. via the website of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Pharmacists (quick search);

3. by telephone on

  • 0800 00 22 8 33 from the German landline network
  • 22 8 33 via any German mobile phone provider without area code

4. by SMS

  • after sending an SMS with your five-digit postcode to 22 8 33.

 

Tip: Daily newspapers or official gazettes usually also contain information on the pharmacy emergency service in the catchment area.
