Extremism - seek advice on how to leave
Extremist radicalisation is often accompanied by changes in behaviour that are noticed by those around them.
These can include
- Withdrawal from familiar surroundings
- Conflicts with and dissociation from those who think differently
- the development of a (new) extremist social environment
- a sudden change in outward appearance
- Pronounced black-and-white thinking
- Marking of enemy images
- Glorification of violence
The earlier the radicalisation process is intervened in, the higher the chances of successful deradicalisation.
They can receive support in leaving the organisation and guidance towards a life without extremism.
You will also receive assistance and support in dealing with radicalised individuals.
