Driving licence
If you want to drive a motor vehicle on public roads in the Federal Republic of Germany, you need a driving licence. The driving licence is issued in certain categories. You must provide proof of this in the form of a driving licence.
You must complete both theoretical training and practical training at a driving school. You must pass a test in both areas. If you fail these tests, you can retake them after a reasonable period of time. This is possible after two weeks at the earliest. The number of retakes is not limited.
