If you are the owner or operator of a telecommunication line or a telecommunication network serving public purposes, you require the consent of the landowner to relocate or modify this infrastructure. If the property is a public transport route, you must submit the application to the infrastructure manager. With the approval of the road owner, you can obtain any other necessary authorisations.
Once you have obtained all authorisations, you can generally start the construction work. Please note any conditions, ancillary provisions and agreed deadlines.

Procedure
You can apply for line relocations in public transport routes in writing or online.
The process begins with the application submitted by you as a telecommunications company and ends with the notice of approval from the infrastructure manager and its legally effective delivery.
- When submitting the application, the construction project must be clearly described. This includes, for example, the exact location, the planned time period, the type of installation, material and installation depth.
- Proof of the existing right of way must be submitted and, in the case of service providers, additional authorisation from the telecommunications company.
- The infrastructure manager checks the application documents and approves them.
- The infrastructure manager has the option of attaching ancillary conditions to the approval, which you must take into account when implementing the measure.
- The approval will be sent to you within 3 months of the application being submitted.
- This period may be extended by one month if the application is more difficult. You will be informed of this.
- If you have not received a notice of approval after three months, your application will be deemed to have been approved.
