Find a pharmacy emergency service
Pharmacies must adhere to the statutory shop opening hours. The Baden-Württemberg State Chamber of Pharmacists organises an emergency service for the supply of medicines in the following cases:
- At night
- at the weekend
- on public holidays

Procedure
At pharmacies that are not on duty, there is a clearly visible notice for patients or other customers indicating the nearest pharmacies that are on duty. Here, reference is made to pharmacies in the vicinity that are on emergency duty.
You can also enquire about pharmacies on emergency duty by telephone:
- 0800 00 22 8 33 from the German fixed network
- 22 8 33 from German mobile phone provider without area code
SMS: "apo" to 22 8 33
Tip: Daily newspapersor official gazettes usually alsocontain information on the pharmacy emergency service from the catchment area.
