In addition to the traditional institutions providing consultation and advice, P.E.G.A.S.U.S supports newly foundedp companies.

P.E.G.A.S.U.S. is an association of experienced, active and partly retired entrepreneurs, self-employed people and executives from industry, trade, handicrafts and service companies. The association was founded in order to give advise and support young entrepreneurs over a certain period of time. P.E.G.A.S.U.S. advises and accompanies young entrepreneurs when they set up their new businesses. Under certain circumstances, P.E.G.A.S.U.S. can also arrange for capital funds of a regional fund for new business set-ups.

The Association for the Promotion of Economic Development  GmbH of Ostwürttemberg (WiRO), with its head office in Schwäbisch Gmünd,  promotes, initiates and coordinates measures for the development and improvement of regional businesses. With the help of a regional database it manages enterprise zones for new settlements, relocations and expansions. They also advise young entrepreneurs in all questions regarding takeovers, equity capital or inform them on attractive business and technology centers in Ostwürttemberg.

Shareholders are the administrative districts of Heidenheim and Ostalbkreis.

Heidenheim has different transfer centers and is part of the Steinbeis-Transfer Network of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg.
