Business in Heidenheim

Heidenheim (478-645 m) is located in the south of Germany and in the eastern part of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg. Western and Eastern European markets can be reached in only a few hours.

Being situated in the triangle of Stuttgart - Nürnberg – Munich, Heidenheim offers good opportunities for founders of new businesses and for companies who plan to settle in this region.

Regional Importance

As one of the four business centers in the region of „Ostwürttemberg“ (next to Aalen, Ellwangen and Schwäbisch Gmünd) the city of Heidenheim has a trading capacity of more than 160 000 people and there are also close links to communities beyond its district borders. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce of “Ostwürttemberg” is also based in Heidenheim. With the “Duale Hochschule” – University of Cooperative Education, Heidenheim also offers education at the university level.
